About Doney Family Farm

We are a family of seven, with three children who have special needs. In 2023, we were fortunate to lease a beautiful piece of land, allowing us to realise a cherished dream. It is a profound gift to establish a space where our children can engage with animals, assist in gardening, and learn to take on small responsibilities around the farm.

In 2024, I made the decision to return to school to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. My aspiration is to further my education with a Master's degree in Psychology and Counselling. Ultimately, I envision creating a practice that integrates my passion for animals and farming with therapeutic services, providing meaningful support to those in need.  

Over the last two years, we have become increasingly excited to see people stopping by to visit the animals!  We receive so much joy from seeing how happy everyone is to check in and see how the animals are doing, and all the treats you all bring!  I hope you will continue to find peace and calm quietness in our little piece of heaven!  Gob bless each of you!

 Our original vision was to create a line of stuffed animals modelled after the beloved creatures from our petting farm. As costs rose, we chose a different path—one that feels even closer to our hearts. We now focus on crafting children’s books that share uplifting messages and gentle guidance, told through the voices and perspectives of our animals. 

We’re excited to share that we’ve launched a new line of colouring books! Our very first release, Fall on the Farm, is now available to purchase.
